Personally Signed By A China Mint Director! Each label was also personally signed by former Shanghai Mint and Shenyang Mint Director Peter Gu. Gu is highly respected in China's numismatic industry and was responsible for many of the innovations and production processes used by China's national mints today. These coins are also 10 Yuan legal tender in the People's Republic of China and feature the newest one-year-only design in the Panda series. The new 2024 design was created Chinese coin designer Huang Qin. Huang is renowned within the numismatic community for several of her Chinese commemorative coin designs-one of which won a Coin of the Year (COTY) award for Best Gold Coin.

Her design for the 2024 Panda coin features a bright-eyed mother panda bear playing with her absolutely adorable young cub. The mama bear almost seems to be beaming with pride as she snuggles with her little fur baby. This is the sixth year of the China Mint's 10-year "series within a series" where collectors get to watch a Panda grow from a cub to adulthood.

The obverse displays the Hall of Prayer for Abundant Harvests located in Beijing's Temple of Heaven. It is encircled by the phrase "People's Republic of China" in Chinese along with the 2024 year date.
